The RSG Refresher Course has been approved by the NT Government and only applies to hospitality staff working in the Northern Territory.

Staff employed at hospitality venues that provide gambling services (EGMs, Keno, TAB, etc) must undertake this course every 3 years.

This will ensure that staff are aware of all harm minimisation strategies that enable the provision of a responsible gambling environment.

Once you have finished this course, please print off your Certificate and give it to your employer – it will expire 3 years from the date listed on the Certificate.

Who needs to take the Test?

If you are working in a hospitality venue that provide gambling services and have previously completed the accredited Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (the nationally accredited unit of competency ‘SITHGAM001 – Provide Responsible Gambling Services’) you are eligible to take this Refresher Course.

There is an on-going training requirement under the Code of Practice for Responsible Gambling that requires staff to undertake approved training every 3 years. This online RSG Course is one of the approved training courses.
